ScholarshipsThere are a large number of scholarships available for young people to assist with tertiary study. Some can be accessed prior to University study, some after commencement and some while working. Young people are sometimes deterred from applying for scholarships because they think they have to be high academic achievers. Explore these sites to find if there is something that will suit. Industry and community bodies offer scholarships to promote entry to particular industries, to encourage people to return to their communities or to assist rural students to overcome disadvantage by helping with accommodation or education costs.
